Andy Hsu is a filmmaker, photographer and designer, producing work that has been in various competitions and exhibited in gallery shows. His interests in motion media started at a very young age -- creating silly stop-motion videos with a 8mm camcorder and his action figurines. His experimentation and exploration in various mediums and topics has led him to a liberal arts university, where he took fascination of not only in art studies, but in psychology. Many of his films investigates the psychological components in Surrealism and the comparison between the states of real and illusion.

Andy received both his B.A. in Animation and M.F.A. in Imaging & Digital Arts, specializing in filmmaking at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is now the web & multimedia specialist at UMBC for web design and development.
